GEAR INDICATOR

INSPIRED BY ENDURANCE PROTOTYPES

This gear indicator for SimRacing is inspired by the controls used by drivers in WEC cars.

Designed to be placed next to a button box or control panel, it allows the engaged gear to always be visible, adding a clear reference during driving and reinforcing the feeling of a real cockpit.

CONSTRUCTION

The body is made of PLA CF, a lightweight, fiber-reinforced material that provides good rigidity and a clean finish.

It incorporates a momentary red button, designed to be easily integrated into cockpit setups where different auxiliary controls are used.

The system works with SimHub, allowing the gear to be displayed in real-time within the simulator.

LPB COMMUNITY ORIGIN

The products we develop at LPB are not part of large-scale mass production.

We typically produce small batches of parts that we design for our own simulator, and when we see that they work well within the cockpit, we produce a few more units to share with the community.

We often talk about very small series, usually around 5 units, designed for those who enjoy building their cockpit with different hardware.
